Dr. Shreedhar Archik

Dr. Shreedhar Archik was born and brought up in Mumbai. He did his under graduate studies from Ruia College, Mumbai and then Joined Seth G.S. Medical College and KEM Hospital, Parel, Mumbai. After completing MBBS from KEM he then began his studies for MS orthopedics from KEM hospital. Dr. Archik Passed out in 1990 and then went to Nuffield Orthopedic Centre, Oxford, UK for further studies. Dr. Archik was Awarded M.Sc in orthopedics by the Oxford University for pioneering work in the field of limb lengthening in the year 1995. He also worked as lecturer in the department of orthopedics Oxford university during his stint in Oxford.

Dr. Shreedhar Archik is credited with development of a force measuring transducer during limb lenghthening surgeries. Dr. Shreedhar Archik was trained at the Nuffield Orthopedic Surgeon for joint replacement surgeries. He returned to the shores of India in 1996. He is currently post graduate teacher in orthopedics for the diplomate of national board examinations. He is attached to Lilavati hospital, Bandra, and Shushrusha Hospital, Dadar, Mumbai. His special interests are joint replacements, spine and management of complex trauma.
