Missouri State Orthopedic Association began in 1969 at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons meeting in Chicago in late January. The mission of the Missouri State Orthopaedic Association is to serve its members through promotion of the science and art of orthopaedic medicine; protection of the health of the public; and betterment of orthopaedics in Missouri.
