On December 14, 2002, The Spine and Orthopaedic Medical Center initially received Office-Based Surgery accreditation from The Joint Commission, and was recertified on December 13, 2005. In becoming accredited, The Spine and Orthopaedic Medical Center was evaluated against a set of nearly 150 national standards by a Joint Commission surveyor experienced in the delivery of Office-Based Surgery services.
