Westside Orthopaedic Clinic opened in 1961, Dr. Jack Winters was the first full-time Orthopaedic Surgeon to practice on the Westbank. The practice grew and prospered. The clinic facility at 925 Avenue C in Marrero was constructed in 1967. The clinics size doubled with an addition in 1980. To handle the increasing number of patients, the clinic, now with seven (7) physicians, had to move to a larger facility. In 1998 the clinic moved across the street to 4500 10th Street Marrero a 10,000 square foot building.
